I posted the info in Wiki about Spearmashal no longer being max, and yes, i'm quite mad about it. I sat in a single zone killing three paragons in a carefully orchestrated manner for five hours, and this afternoon went from 8/10 titles maxed to 4/10 (Three protector's plus Spearmarshal). Incidentally this has been fixed, but I'm still at 7/10 without my Spearmarshal title.

hm so, from this update, is it now possible to get bountes after castellan?

and on a side note, if this is a-net's way of fixing the problem they have dont a most terrible job if it. We arent concerned with the TITLE and the look, we're more concerned with the AQUISITION of the title. What's the point of it?

It's like wagging a peice of meat in front a dog, then breaking the dogs legs and putting it on a table. (its cruel but thats the only way i can describe it )

You're pissed off that the exploit you abused now doesn't count? Why, because you'll actually have to earn the next level? Yay you.

Why do I suspect that if there wasn't some sort of reward added in Hard Mode you'd be complaining about that as well?

You can't anymore. There were a few that abused an exploit for a while to reach the max title at the time. Same way many abused a Lightbringer exploit.

well my spearmashal is gone but there are no changes on skillhunter. very dissapointing

PS: Spearmashal couldn't be done afk. You had kill rezzing mobs for about 5 hours without a break. (easy for a max title but not THAT easy)

you'd have to stay in a map for hours (aprox 5) killing mobs rezing each other.

Can be call an exploit.. but then how you call a designed unmaxable title ? a joke?

Sucks to be exploiters... and yes, it was perfectly possible to afk farm (i.e. exploit) Spearmarshall, until Anet plugged that exploit. By then, however, these folks had got the title. Search for it, people were even boasting about it and detailed the method that was used.

Wow. I want every Lightbringer and Sunspear title nulled, because of those exploiters. It is unfair, and thus no-one can prove they gained it legally. Null 'em all!

Took my guild team of 4 players and 4 heroes about one hour... all done in the first week of nightfall btw :P

Gaile actually called it a "feature", i dont think it was intended, but its certainly not an exploit.

Mendes didnt do any work, he just leeched off my pro worming skills.

Please explain how killing 20,000 or so monsters is exploiting.

After the first 50 or so masks I decided to keep them for people like you. I have given away 20 or so shards, used 10 myself and sold 5.

You reckon they'll ever add more PvE skills to these title tracks? I mean, the title track and ranks were a cool idea, but getting just one skill at the very beginning makes the ranks less exciting. Maybe something like, if you achieved the highest rank, you could summon like 3 level 20 Sunspears at a res shrine, recharges with a morale boost, elite. Its one thing to have the title, but I want to FEEL like a commander of an army. The Sanctuary was so cool, but once you leave Kourna you don't feel like a sunspear anymore.

Skill hunter can not be currently maxed either. Seems painfully obvious that there were future plans for the titles. But I guess Anet not confiding that information directly to you means the end of the world is near.

I hope they do the same to Lightbringer title, one more level for max it, indeed, the exploit for make Lightbringer title easy, was far worst than the Sunspear one, no?
